When looking at the pictures the plane has belly landed, there are no wheels down."If the gear was down then the plane would have landed nicely. But the plane landed flat on its belly which caused the massive fire."The question is why was the decision made to 'go around' and when was the decision made to retract the gear?"This type of thing should just not happen."Mr Davis said if it is pilot error then there are two issues which need to be addressed by the aviation industry.This includes pilot fatigue and automation addiction which is too much of a reliance on auto pilot function.
